About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District Office, has published a Special Notice announcing an Industry Day event scheduled for February 19, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. EST in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. This Special Notice pertains to an upcoming single construction contract solicitation for an Area Maintenance Support Activity (AMSA) / Vehicle Maintenance Shop (VMS) facility to be constructed in New Castle, Pennsylvania. The Industry Day is not a formal Request for Proposal, Invitation to Bid, or Request for Quotation, and therefore does not constitute a commitment by the Government to award a contract. The Government will not provide reimbursement for any costs associated with attendance or information submission. The event will be held at the Coraopolis Army Reserve Center and will also be accessible via Microsoft Teams for remote participation.
The objective of this Industry Day is to brief prospective contractors on the planned construction of a one-story AMSA/VMS facility comprising approximately 20,325 gross square feet with multiple functional areas including vehicle maintenance bays, storage, office space, repair shops, and ancillary structures such as a canopy, wash rack, loading ramp, and water treatment facility. Contractors interested in pursuing this opportunity must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) and classified under NAICS code 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction). Eligibility is open to large, small, and socio-economic businesses meeting the NAICS classification requirement. The Industry Day provides a pre-solicitation forum for potential bidders to gain insight into the project scope, requirements, and Government expectations prior to the formal solicitation issuance, which is anticipated to follow this event.
