About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Hill Air Force Base has issued a Special Notice for an Industry Day event focused on Measurement System Evaluation (MSE). This virtual event, scheduled for January 8-9, 2025, targets manufacturers of Cartridge, Flare, and Chaff products. The event will be conducted through Microsoft Teams, providing a platform for manufacturers to engage directly with government representatives. Specifically, the notice invites targeted manufacturers to participate in discussions about MSE specific to their manufacturing processes and controls. The event will operate with one-hour time slots allocated to each participating vendor during the 9am-3pm MST timeframe.
Contractors interested in participating must submit their response by January 3, 2025, at 3pm MST, with a specific email format to David "Nick" Padgett. The submission must include the company name, attendee names, a single point of contact, email address, preferred meeting times, and a brief list of questions. Eligible vendors are those manufacturing Cartridge, Flare, and Chaff products who can provide insights into their measurement system evaluation processes. The objective is to facilitate a comprehensive discussion about MSE requirements, which include specific standards for acceptance inspection equipment, calibration, and measurement system reliability. Vendors are encouraged to prepare and communicate their questions in advance to maximize the effectiveness of their allocated time slot during the virtual industry day event.
