About this opportunity

The Naval Sea Systems Command will host a second industry day on January 13, 2021 via teleconference to discuss initial requirements for the Next Generation Logistics Ship program. Attendance is limited to U.S. shipyards capable of ship construction, ship owners with designs that could inform the program, and ship design agents. Interested parties must register by January 6, 2021 and submit a signed non-disclosure agreement. The Navy plans to conduct industry studies in fiscal year 2021 to develop requirements for potential future solicitations, subject to appropriations.

There is no set-aside designated for this opportunity. The NAICS and PSC codes applicable to ship design and construction will likely apply. No incumbents or current contractors were identified, and no award values or quantities were provided, though the program aims to develop requirements to augment the current Combat Logistics Force fleet through commercial ship designs tailored for military logistics missions. Key contacts are Christopher Paulus, Aban Iqbal, and Roxie Thomas from the Naval Sea Systems Command.
