About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Headquarters District Washington, specifically the 11th Contracting Squadron, is seeking industrial cleaning services for Joint Base Anacostia Bolling. The procurement will require a comprehensive service that includes providing labor, equipment, transportation, quality control, and supervision for cleaning operations. Potential contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and have a current Online Representations and Certification Application. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561720, with a size standard of $22,000,000. Interested parties are required to submit a concise five-page response detailing their company's business size, annual revenues, employee count, teaming arrangements, capabilities, and maximum annual capacity. The evaluation will focus on understanding the contractors' capabilities and potential to support the requirement. Responses are due by April 1, 2025, at 3:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, with questions to be directed to terry.agena.1@us.af.mil.
The government anticipates soliciting this requirement as a Small Business set-aside, though this is not yet finalized. Respondents must clearly delineate the work to be performed by the prime contractor and any teaming partners. While specific award values are not explicitly stated, the NAICS size standard suggests potential for significant contract value up to $22,000,000. The sources sought notice indicates the government will use the submitted information to make a final determination on the small business set-aside status. No incumbent contractors are mentioned in the documentation, and the timeline for service delivery is not explicitly defined beyond the response deadline of April 1, 2025. The procurement represents an opportunity for small businesses to compete for a federal contract providing industrial cleaning services at a major military installation.
