About this opportunity
The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AO) is seeking an independent assessment of a proposed large-scale cloud-based software application design, utilizing a Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential vendors with expertise in cloud-native technologies. The RFI targets vendors capable of comprehensively evaluating complex software applications, with a focus on serverless architectures, containerization, cybersecurity, and advanced technical review capabilities. Key requirements include assessing the application's architecture across domains such as database management, security controls, inter-component communication, monitoring systems, DevSecOps pipelines, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Vendors must demonstrate experience with industry security standards like NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA, and have proven capabilities in cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. The RFI response is due by 10am ET on April 8, 2025, with submissions limited to 8 pages and required to be submitted via email in Microsoft Office or PDF format.
This pre-solicitation notice does not have a specific set-aside designation and is not currently associated with an identified incumbent contractor. While no specific award value or budget range is disclosed, the opportunity is categorized under NAICS code 541512 for Computer Systems Design Services. The AO emphasizes that this RFI is purely for information and planning purposes, and does not constitute a formal solicitation or promise of future contract award. Respondents are explicitly warned not to include proprietary or sensitive information, and the AO retains the right to reach out to vendors for additional questions or clarifications. The agency will not reimburse vendors for RFI responses and is under no obligation to provide feedback or move forward with a solicitation. Participation in this RFI does not guarantee or preclude potential involvement in future procurement activities.
