About this opportunity

The U.S. Department of State's Narcotics Affairs Section (INL) in Mexico is soliciting quotations for a performance locker container gym to support the Attorney General's Office (FGR) Justice and Synthetic Drug Training Academy at La Muralla. The procurement involves one military-grade ISO 40' shipping container gym designed to train up to 120 people, with comprehensive fitness equipment including 36 external pull-up stations, nine squat stations, and a 12' rope climb tower. The solicitation requires a firm-fixed-price purchase order payable in Mexican pesos or U.S. dollars, with quotations due by June 02, 2025, and pricing remaining valid for 90 days. Contractors must provide transportation, offloading, and installation services at the La Muralla facility in Queretaro, Mexico. Evaluation criteria will likely include compliance with technical specifications, warranty offerings, and adherence to federal representations and certifications.

The solicitation does not have a specific set-aside designation, indicating it is open to all qualified vendors in the Sporting and Athletic Goods Manufacturing sector. The contract requires delivery and installation within 120 business days after award, with the equipment needing to be new and meeting specified technical requirements. The total procurement is for one container gym, with a requirement for a limited lifetime warranty on external functional training rigging and a minimum one-year warranty on accessories. The place of performance is 76820 Qro., Mexico, specifically at the La Muralla facility. While the exact award value is not explicitly stated, the comprehensive nature of the gym equipment and installation services suggests a significant investment in supporting bilateral cooperation between the United States and Mexican governments in combating criminal activity and providing advanced training infrastructure.
