About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of State's Narcotics Affairs Section is seeking to procure one performance locker container gym for the Attorney General's Office (FGR) Justice and Synthetic Drug Training Academy in Mexico. The solicitation, identified as RFQ 19MX9025Q0012, requires a military-grade ISO 40' shipping container gym capable of training up to 120 people, with extensive fitness equipment and infrastructure. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and will be evaluated based on lowest-price, technically acceptable criteria. The government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract to a responsible quoter who can meet all technical specifications. Quotations are due by May 7, 2025, at 16:00 hours Mexico City time, with pricing required to remain valid for 60 days.
The contract is not set aside for any specific business category and will be performed in Queretaro, Mexico (76820). The container gym must include 36 external pull-up stations, nine squat stations, climbing wings, a rope climb tower, and various fitness equipment such as medicine balls, kettlebells, Olympic lifting bars, and bumper plates. Contractors will be responsible for transportation, offloading, and installation services, with a required delivery timeline of 120 business days after contract award. While the total contract value is not explicitly stated, the procurement is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. The project supports broader U.S. and Mexican governmental efforts to detect, deter, prevent, and mitigate criminal activity through enhanced training facilities.
Notice text

As part of this agreement INL Mexico will support the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) to develop a Justice and Synthetic Drug Training Academy at La Muralla, focused on synthetic drugs, clandestine laboratory trainings, and the proper evidence collection to support prosecutions.
The scope of work (SOW) consists of procuring one (1) performance locker container gym with the specifications detailed on RFQ presneted herein.
