About this opportunity

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued a Special Notice for a sole-source procurement of venue space for the ID5 and TM5 Mid Term Meetings. The notice announces the intent to award a firm fixed-price contract to Bartell Hotels, specifically the Sheraton La Jolla Hotel, located in La Jolla, California. The procurement is exempt from the Competition in Contracting Act (CICA) and will be executed using the Alternative Competition Method in accordance with the Patent and Trademark Office Acquisition Guidelines (PTAG) and the USPTO Efficiency Act. The procurement uses NAICS code 721110 for Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels, with a specific Product Service Code (PSC) of V231 for lodging and hotel services. Any questions regarding the notice must be submitted in writing via email no later than 5:00 PM EST on February 27, 2025. The solicitation will be sent directly to Bartell Hotels rather than being posted on SAM.gov. Potential contractors should be aware that all expenses associated with responding to the notice are the sole responsibility of the respondent, and any proprietary information received will be handled accordingly under the specified guidelines.
