About this opportunity
The U.S. Embassy in Bogota is seeking to procure regular gasoline fuel for its motor pool vehicles through this solicitation opportunity. The Department of State US Embassy Bogota requires fuel supply and delivery services covering a three-month period from August 1, 2025, through October 31, 2025. The contract requires four to six partial deliveries per month directly to the U.S. Embassy Compound located at Carrera 45 No. 24B-27. Vendors must provide fuel delivery using trucks with 2,000 to 5,000 gallon capacity and Colombian standard industry hose/coupling connections. The solicitation requires price per gallon quotes and establishes net 30-day payment terms upon fuel delivery and invoice submission through the vendor portal, with payments processed via electronic funds transfer. The proposal submission deadline is July 26, 2025, providing vendors with a nine-day response window from the July 17, 2025 posting date.
This procurement opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified vendors. The contract establishes minimum and maximum fuel quantities, with the government committing to order a minimum of 1 gallon of regular gasoline during the performance period while capping total orders at 65,000 gallons. The estimated contract value can be calculated based on the maximum 65,000 gallon quantity multiplied by the vendor's proposed price per gallon. Performance will occur in Bogotá, Colombia, specifically at the U.S. Embassy compound, requiring vendors to have local delivery capabilities and familiarity with Colombian fuel industry standards. The three-month contract duration represents a relatively short-term engagement, suggesting this may be either a recurring procurement or a bridge contract for ongoing fuel supply needs.
