About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking to procure hydraulic motor-generators through solicitation SPRTA1-25-Q-0394 for PR 25-01780. This procurement falls under the NAICS code 336413 for Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing and PSC code 6115 for Generators and Generator Sets, Electrical. The acquisition is expected to remain below the simplified acquisition threshold, which has allowed the agency to waive the standard synopsis requirement under FAR 5.202(a)(13). The complete solicitation package will be made available through the Government-wide Point of Entry (GPE), and offerors will be permitted to respond electronically via email. The due date for responses is July 14, 2025, with the notice posted on June 13, 2025.

No set-aside designation has been applied to this opportunity, making it open to full and open competition. The notice does not identify any incumbent contractors or provide specific award values, though the reference to remaining below the simplified acquisition threshold suggests the contract value will be less than $250,000 for most civilian agencies or $750,000 for Department of Defense acquisitions. No specific quantities or service timelines are detailed in the pre-solicitation notice. The procurement appears to be structured as a straightforward acquisition of aircraft-related electrical generation equipment, with the streamlined process reflecting the relatively modest scope and value of the requirement. The electronic submission process and waived synopsis indicate the agency's intent to expedite this procurement while maintaining competitive opportunities.
