About this opportunity

This Limited/Sole Source Justification Notice from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Johnson Space Center is to modify the existing Human Health and Performance Contract with KBR Wyle Services LLC by $460 million. The original contract awarded in 2015 requires the contractor to provide specialized biomedical research, space medicine, clinical support, behavioral sciences, and other human health and performance services critical to NASA's major human spaceflight programs. Due to increased workload from programs like the International Space Station and Commercial Crew Program, the contract modification will ensure uninterrupted support through 2025 as transitioning to a new contractor could cause unacceptable delays given the unique expertise required.

Notice text

The Human Health and Performance Contract (NNJ15HK11B) required a modification to increase the contract value by $460M. It was a sole-source action to the current contractor, KBR Wyle Services LLC.
The contract value increase will ensure continued uninterrupted services until the follow-on contract is awarded.
Please see attached Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) for more details.

Awarded contract NNJ15HK11B to unknown vendor for unknown amount on 2015-11-01.
