About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Protective Services Division has issued a Sources Sought Notice to gather market information for commercial vehicle leasing services under NAICS code 532112 with a size standard of $7 million. The agency is seeking information about potential vendors who can provide two specific 2025 vehicles: a Jeep Grand Wagoneer Obsidian Series III L for use in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and a Chevrolet Suburban Z71 for use in the Dallas, Texas metropolitan area. Both vehicles must include emergency equipment such as front grill lights, rear window lights, windshield lights, and siren control panels, along with fully paid maintenance plans for the lease duration. HUD is requesting capability statements, business type information, GSA schedule numbers if applicable, and comments on the draft requirements from interested parties. All responses must be submitted to Shelli.J.Waltz@hud.gov by 5:00 PM Eastern Time on July 8, 2025, with first consideration given to vendors who can provide both vehicles.
This pre-solicitation notice does not include any set-aside designations and is open to all business types including large, small, 8(a) certified, and HUBZone firms. No current contractors or incumbents are identified in the notice, and no specific award values or budget ranges are disclosed. Each vehicle is anticipated to be driven approximately 15,000 miles annually, with the Washington, DC vehicle to be delivered to the HUD Weaver Building at 451 7th Street SW and the Dallas vehicle to be delivered to the Fort Worth Field Office at 307 W. 7th Street. The notice emphasizes that this is solely for information gathering purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal, with the government not committing to any procurement at this time. Both vehicles must be properly tagged in their respective jurisdictions - the DC area vehicle in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia, and the Texas vehicle in the state of Texas.
