About this opportunity
The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, acting on behalf of the United States District Court, Central District of California Probation and Pretrial Services Office, seeks hotel and resort accommodations for a 2026 Post Conviction Division Training Conference, with proposals due July 17 and questions due July 10. This is an open market RFQ with no set-aside.
The conference will be held September 23–25, 2026, in Santa Barbara/Goleta, California, with an estimated 120 attendees requiring 360 total room nights. The hotel must maintain a minimum 4-star rating from Michelin, Hotels.com, or TripAdvisor. Required facilities include contiguous meeting space separate from public areas, a restaurant accommodating up to 100 people, complimentary or reduced-rate self-parking for 120 vehicles, check-in by 3:00 p.m., and late checkout on Friday until 1:00 p.m. Meeting space must include a ballroom configured with round tables of eight for approximately 120 attendees, secure storage with locking doors, and registration/reception areas. Audio-visual requirements span all three conference days and include Wi-Fi connectivity, wireless microphones, projection screens, podiums, flipcharts, and technical support. Food and beverage services must provide daily breakfasts, morning and afternoon breaks with light snacks, and buffet-style lunches offering hot, cold, and vegan options.
The approved daily room rate is $205 per night (excluding taxes). Pricing must be submitted on the provided quote sheet broken down by task. The judiciary restricts deposits to 15 percent of estimated costs for audio-visual services, food, and training space; no advance payments are permitted for guest rooms. Individual guests pay room and incidental charges upon departure; the judiciary directly pays for meeting space, food and beverage, parking, and audio-visual services. Responses must be submitted directly from hotel management; broker submissions are not accepted. Award will be made to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offer.
