About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is soliciting bids for 350 EPDM synthetic rubber hose assemblies, specifically 1/2" inner diameter by 50 feet in length, finished in red with Continental Frontier Hose connectors and a bleeder ball check valve. The hoses must be fully coupled, assembled, tested, and delivered in packaging of 70 units per fiberboard box with specified marking requirements. Offerors will be evaluated based on technical acceptability of the hose assembly specifications, pricing competitiveness, and demonstrated past performance. Key contract requirements include compliance with NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity standards (unless items qualify as Commercial Off-The-Shelf), electronic submission of quotes through SAM.GOV, and adherence to federal regulations including biometric identification system requirements for base access and electronic invoicing through Wide Area Workflow. The solicitation deadline is January 16, 2026, with bids required to be signed, completed in their entirety, and submitted via email to rosalie.aranzanso@dla.mil, with late submissions ineligible for consideration.

This procurement is set aside exclusively for Women-Owned Small Business concerns. The contract specifies a firm fixed price structure with delivery required by February 27, 2026, providing approximately six weeks for fulfillment. The place of performance is Bremerton, Washington, with the hoses intended for use by the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Offerors must provide the manufacturer's name and country of origin, identify applicable items as COTS if applicable, and declare the lead time required for production and delivery. No incumbent contractor is identified in the solicitation, and no specific award value or budget range is disclosed, allowing competitive pricing to determine the final contract amount based on the firm fixed price bid.
