About this opportunity

DLA Maritime Pearl Harbor is soliciting offers for hose assemblies under solicitation number SPMYM4-25-Q-0631, specifically requesting three types of nonmetallic hose assemblies with high UV protection and abrasion-resistant properties featuring interlocking crimp ferrule and camlock fittings. The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is procuring these items under Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 for commercial items and Part 13 for simplified acquisition procedures, with all hoses intended for use as temporary freshwater or saltwater headers in a marine environment. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and self-certify that they are not suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible for federal contracts. The contract will be awarded using a low-cost, technically acceptable evaluation method, with the government reserving the right to eliminate unacceptable proposals. There appears to be conflicting information in the documentation regarding the quote submission deadline, with one source indicating July 3, 2025, at 06:00 AM HST and another indicating July 8, 2025, at the same time.

This procurement is designated as a 100% set-aside for small businesses under NAICS code 326220 (Rubber and Plastics Hoses and Belting Manufacturing) with a size standard of 800 employees. No incumbent contractors are identified in the solicitation materials, and no specific contract values or budget ranges are disclosed. The quantities required include 30 units of 4-inch diameter by 50-foot long hose assemblies, 72 units of 2.5-inch diameter by 50-foot long hose assemblies, and 42 units of 2.5-inch diameter by 25-foot long hose assemblies. Performance will take place at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, where the hose assemblies will be delivered FOB destination. Vendors must provide comprehensive technical documentation including hydrostatic testing results, visual inspection certifications, and detailed specifications for each hose assembly type.
