Velocity 3.x is a server-based software that provides enterprise management of security platforms, such as proximity card readers, cameras, and door locks. This product is comprised of server(s), workstations, specialized controllers and sensors (Hirsch-Identiv), and the Velocity software used for motion detectors and physical access controls to restricted areas. This alarm system is utilized to respond to and manage open storage areas, arms rooms, terminal rooms, ATM, APCs, and any area where access is strictly controlled. Velocity enables access control through a proximity card and PIN (two authentication factor).

Velocity 3.x is installed on a current Windows AGM build client-server platform, either utilizing VMware or Hyper-V. The users access the program directly from the server or via HTTPS from the client workstation included within the local VLAN. The workstation displays the alarms. Velocity communicates over the VLAN with ACLs setup so only the server and remote devices communicate with each other. All data stays internal to the local enclave.
