About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Fort Worth is soliciting proposals for herbicide application services at Granger Lake through an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contract requires a non-personal services arrangement where the contractor must provide all management, personnel, equipment, materials, chemicals, and labor necessary to perform herbicide applications on embankments, rip rap, roads, parking lots, recreation facilities, and recreation areas. The contractor will be solely responsible for supervision and control of their service providers, with no government oversight of personnel performing the actual services. The contractor must supply all necessary resources including transportation, tools, supervision, and other required items except for government-furnished property and services as specified in the Performance Work Statement. This solicitation was posted on June 11, 2025, with proposals due by July 11, 2025, providing potential offerors with a 30-day response period.
This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting competition to qualified small business concerns under NAICS code 561730 for Landscaping Services. The work will be performed at Granger Lake, with the contractor required to meet all performance standards outlined in the Performance Work Statement. The contract falls under PSC category S208 for Housekeeping-Landscaping/Groundskeeping services, indicating the specialized nature of the herbicide application requirements. No incumbent contractor information, specific award values, or detailed quantity requirements are provided in this initial solicitation notice. The IDIQ structure suggests the contract will involve multiple delivery orders over the contract period, though specific ordering quantities and timelines will likely be defined in the complete solicitation documents.
