About this opportunity
The Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate Office of Enterprise Management has awarded a sole-source contract to Henricksen & Company, Inc. for procurement, reconfiguration, customization, and installation of office furniture at 1451 Campus Dr, Frederick, MD, with award made on September 30, 2026.
The justification cites FAR 12.102, restricting competition, on the basis that only one source is reasonably available. DHS previously procured office furniture from Henricksen & Company; the current requirement involves reconfiguring and expanding the existing furniture layout at the Frederick location to maximize capacity, meet ergonomic standards, and improve space utility and safety. The contracting officer determined price fairness and reasonableness through validation of current pricing against the contractor's published price list and examination of the historical procurement record. Place of performance is Frederick, MD.
