About this opportunity

The procurement will establish a firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity commercial services contract for a five-year period beginning September 25, 2025. Contractors must demonstrate capability through certified mechanics with turbine engine helicopter experience and compliance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations and manufacturer maintenance instructions. The government will evaluate proposals based on price, past performance, and technical capability, with a comprehensive pre-award inspection assessing operational procedures, personnel qualifications, and facility capabilities. This opportunity is designated as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 488190 with a $40 million size standard, and the contract carries a total ceiling value of $1.1 million over its five-year duration. The contract structure includes five one-year ordering periods covering maintenance services for aircraft estimated to fly 300 hours annually, with specific line items for 100-hour inspections, 300-hour inspections, annual inspections, hourly labor repairs, parts and supplies, and travel expenses.
