About this opportunity
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) modification to an existing Delivery Order for Spare Parts for the Harpoon Missile System. The contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to The Boeing Company, which is the exclusive designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the Harpoon Weapon System. Boeing is being selected due to its unique technical expertise, proprietary technical data, and specialized facilities that make it the only responsible source capable of meeting the government's requirements. The solicitation was posted on April 15, 2025, with a response deadline of April 30, 2025, and the contract award is anticipated for the third quarter of fiscal year 2025. While this notice is not a request for competitive proposals, small businesses interested in potential subcontracting opportunities are encouraged to contact Chasity Strickland at Boeing.
The solicitation does not include any specific set-aside designations and will be conducted under the existing Basic Ordering Agreement N0001921G0006. The place of performance is located in St. Louis, Missouri, specifically at Boeing's facility at 6200 James S McDonnell Blvd. The contract falls under the NAICS category of Guided Missile and Space Vehicle Manufacturing (336414) and the Product Service Code for Guided Missiles (1410). Interested parties can submit capability statements, with the recommendation to copy NAVAIR representative Joanna Roland on any communications. The government retains full discretion in determining whether to compete the proposed contract and is not committed to issuing a solicitation or making an award, and will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties prior to contract award.
