About this opportunity

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded a firm-fixed-price delivery order modification to The Boeing Company on August 11, 2025, valued at $5,018,308 for the recertification and repair of Harpoon and Standoff Land Attack Missile Expanded Response (SLAM-ER) missile sections and components. This award was made under a sole source procurement authority, as Boeing is identified as the only qualified responsible source capable of fulfilling these specialized depot repair requirements for these weapon systems. The contract is issued against an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (N00019-21-G-0006) and represents part of a broader multi-year procurement program totaling $5.136 billion across fiscal years 2021-2026 for various Harpoon and SLAM-ER weapon system components and support services. The procurement supports both U.S. Navy operations and Foreign Military Sales customers, with Boeing maintaining exclusive technical expertise as the original designer and manufacturer of these missile systems since 1977.
