About this opportunity
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations and award a modification to a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Delivery Order with Boeing Company to provide additional Harpoon Block II+ Tactical Missile Upgrade Kits for the United States Navy. The Government is pursuing this acquisition on a sole source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as Boeing is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the Harpoon Weapon System and its related equipment, with the required technical data, experience, knowledge, expertise, and facilities. Contract award is anticipated in the third quarter of fiscal year 2024.
This acquisition is not set-aside, and Boeing is the incumbent contractor as the sole owner of the technical data for the Harpoon system. The value of the anticipated modification is not provided, but it will include additional Harpoon Block II+ Tactical Missile Upgrade Kits. The place of performance is St. Louis, Missouri. Small businesses interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Boeing's Francisco Renteria.
