The Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command seeks to award a firm-fixed price contract to provide preventative maintenance, demand maintenance, and repair services for 177 hangar doors located at Hunter Army Airfield and Fort Stewart in Georgia. The contractor shall be responsible for all personnel, equipment, parts, and resources required to maintain the doors in accordance with the technical standards outlined. Proposals are due by November 10, 2020 and will be evaluated based on technical qualifications, past performance, and price. The period of performance is one base year with four one-year options, running from January 2021 to December 2025.
This total small business set-aside opportunity has a place of performance at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield in Georgia. Ninety-nine percent of the hangar doors requiring maintenance are over 20 years old, with types including electrically-operated, mechanically-operated, and manually-operated doors ranging from 20 to over 70 feet in height. The contractor must respond to emergency requests within one hour during normal business days and within four hours at all other times.

Hangar Doors HAAF/FSGA FY21 requirement. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the maintenance and repairs of hangar doors at Hunter Army Airfield (HAAF) and Fort Stewart (FSGA), Georgia. The Contractor shall perform to the standards specified in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The Contractor is responsible for providing all parts required for Preventive Maintenance (PMs) and all repair parts required for Demand Maintenance (DMs).
