This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 115310, Support Activities for Forestry-Fuels Management Services, and the annual size standard is $19.0 M.
This requirement will be 100% set aside for HubZone entity. All prospective Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Contractors will be searched against the https://www.sam.gov to ensure they are eligible for Federal contract awards. Please forward technical inquiries to Vincent Chua at vchua@fs.fed.us
Project Description:
The proposed project includes the following:
The intent of this contract is to procure services for hazardous fuels reduction on three distinct units totaling approximately 260 acres within the Palomar Ranger District of the Cleveland National Forest in east San Diego County, CA. Hazardous fuels reduction treatments performed would include at least one of the following activities, or a combination therein; hand cutting live and dead shrubs and small trees with chainsaws, hand piling contractor generated slash, lopping and scattering or pulling slash away contractor generated slash from unit perimeter. Treatment requirements are further described in the solicitation.
The completion time for this contract is approximately 150 calendar days after NTP is issued.
