About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 17 is seeking proposals for a contract to provide water quality monitoring, water sample collection, and water microbiological testing services for its facilities in Central Texas. Key requirements include developing water management plans, facilitating water safety committees, sampling for contaminants like Legionella and E. coli, and maintaining continuous water monitoring equipment. Offerors must provide fixed unit pricing for these services over a one-year base period and four option years. Proposals will be evaluated on technical capability, past performance, and price.

This procurement is set aside exclusively for certified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. The estimated sample volume ranges from 2,500 to 7,500 per year, with the contractor responsible for the full sample lifecycle from collection to reporting. The place of performance includes the Waco, Austin, and Temple campuses, as well as potentially other CTVHCS locations. The current contract expires in June 2024 with a 2-month extension, and the new contract period will begin on September 1, 2024.
