About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is procuring 334 units of a Gyroscope, Rate (WSDC: 19F) component for F-15 Eagle aircraft under a firm fixed-price contract. The component is identified by NSN 6615-010714513 and falls under the Automatic Pilot Mechanisms and Airborne Gyro Components product service code. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 24, 2026, with a closing date of March 26, 2026, providing interested parties forty-five days to submit proposals from the publication date.
This is a total small business set-aside procurement in accordance with 19.502-2, limiting competition to qualified small business entities. The approved sources for this component are U.S. Dynamics Corporation (CAGE 26269), CS Industries (CAGE 41820), Atlantic Inertial Systems Inc. The contract requires a Government First Article Test of one unit to be completed 150 days after receipt of order (ARO), with a final delivery schedule of 299 days ARO, with free-on-board and inspection/acceptance both at origin. While no specific award value is disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice, the procurement of 334 units of a specialized aerospace component from approved original equipment manufacturers indicates a significant contract opportunity.
