About this opportunity
NASA's Shared Services Center, operating through Armstrong Flight Research Center, is seeking qualified suppliers to provide Gulfstream V aircraft wheel assemblies through this Request for Quotation. The procurement requires the outright purchase of six wheel assemblies consisting of four main landing gear assemblies (part number 1159SCL503-9) and two nose landing gear assemblies (part number 1159SCL505-1) to support safe flight operations. Suppliers must comply with comprehensive quality standards outlined in the Q-01.A Aircraft Assemblies, Parts and Materials document, which mandates FAA compliance documentation, manufacturer certifications, 10-year record retention, and adherence to quality management systems such as AS9100 or AS9120. Award will be made using lowest price technically acceptable criteria to a responsible offeror whose quotation demonstrates satisfactory compliance with all solicitation requirements. Critical deadlines include April 6, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. CT for submission of technical and contractual questions, and April 8, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. CT for quote submission to Tracy Bremer at tracy.g.bremer@nasa.gov.
This solicitation is designated as a total small business set-aside, restricting competition to certified small business entities. No incumbent contractors or current award values are identified in the solicitation materials. The contract will be structured as a firm-fixed-price award with NET 30 payment terms and FOB Destination pricing, though the total contract value will be determined at the time of award based on submitted quotations. Delivery must be completed within 15 days of contract award, with all wheel assemblies shipped to NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center at Lilly Drive Building 4876 Warehouse #6 in Edwards, California 93524. Prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) and should provide their Cage Code/UEI, ARO delivery times, and FOB pricing information with their quotes.
