About this opportunity

Naval Supply Systems Command intends to solicit a sole-source contract for valve stem guides (NSN 1H-4820-014524681-L1) with a response deadline of September 14, 2026, under FAR 6.302-1 authority. The Government does not own manufacturing data or rights, and reverse engineering has been determined uneconomical, supporting the sole-source determination.

The requirement is for 54 units of TDP VER 008 delivered to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine. Technical data, military specifications, and standards are available through the DoD Single Stock Point at the Document Automation and Production Service in Philadelphia; most documents are accessible via ASSIST-Online at http://quicksearch.dla.mil/. Although this is a sole-source procurement, all responsible sources may submit interest statements, capability statements, or proposals. The 45-day notice period applies; proposals received within 45 days of notice (or 30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Order) will be considered.
