About this opportunity
Paragraph 1:
The Air Force Installation Contracting Center (AFICC)/772nd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (ESS) and Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) are conducting market research to identify 8(a) firms with experience providing design-build repair and construction services for various facilities and infrastructure at Andersen AFB and/or Naval Base Guam. The focus is on addressing damage from Typhoon Mawar. The Air Force intends to award up to ten Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Single Award Task Order Contracts (SATOCs) with a ceiling of $4.5M each. Projects may range from $100,000 to $300,000 and may include design, repair, sustainment, and modernization of facilities and infrastructure. Responses to the attached Request for Capabilities are due by August 5, 2024 at 8:00 AM CT.
Paragraph 2:
This opportunity is set aside for 8(a) firms. The Air Force has previously sought information from Alaska Native Corporation (ANC)/Hawaiian-owned firms and 8(a) firms located on Guam. The Air Force prefers to have prime contractors subcontract the trades work rather than self-perform. The total value of the ten IDIQ contracts is up to $45 million, with each individual IDIQ contract having a $4.5 million ceiling.
