About this opportunity
The General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service Center for Charge Card Management (CCCM) published this Special Notice to invite industry stakeholders to participate in a virtual Industry Day event scheduled for May 19-21, 2026. The event serves as market research for the development of GSA SmartPay 4 (SP4), the next iteration of the government-wide master contract for commercial charge card and payment services. The GSA SmartPay program currently serves approximately 250 federal government agencies, eligible organizations, and Native American Tribal organizations. This Special Notice has been updated multiple times since its original posting on March 19, 2026, with the most recent update on April 27, 2026, reflecting adjustments to registration deadlines and participant capacity.
The primary objective of this Special Notice is to gather feedback on current capabilities and solicit input from industry partners regarding the future direction of the GSA SmartPay program. The registration deadline for Day 1 participation is April 30, 2026, with a limit of ten company representatives per organization permitted to attend; however, the deadline for requesting presentation time slots on Days 2-3 was April 22, 2026, and all available slots are now fully booked. Eligible contractors include any companies providing charge card and payment-related services or related technology solutions that interface with GSA programs such as GSA Advantage, GO.gov, and FedRAMP. Day 1 features open-forum presentations from federal agencies discussing program needs and challenges, while Days 2-3 consist of breakout sessions limited to GSA and agency personnel with selected industry presenters. Additionally, the government published a related Request for Information (RFI 2 - Next Generation of the GSA SmartPay Master Contract, Notice ID: 47QRAB26N0002) to solicit detailed feedback on the current GSA SmartPay 3 master contract.
