About this opportunity

The General Services Administration Public Buildings Service Region 9 is seeking to lease office space within the city limits of Show Low, Arizona. The solicitation calls for approximately 250 square feet of office and related space for a lease term of 15 years, with a firm commitment of 10 years. Potential lessors must ensure the offered space meets strict government requirements, including fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards. The space must be fully serviced and cannot be located in a 100-year flood plain. Interested entities are advised to review telecommunications prohibitions outlined in Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act, as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation.

There is no specific set-aside designation for this lease opportunity, and the current lease is expiring, prompting the government to evaluate alternative space options. The GSA will assess potential spaces based on economic advantageousness, considering factors such as relocation costs, tenant improvement expenses, telecommunication infrastructure, and potential agency downtime. While no specific budget range is disclosed, the government will conduct a comprehensive cost-benefit analysis to determine the most suitable leasing arrangement. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on December 4, 2023, with a response deadline of February 7, 2025, providing potential lessors ample time to prepare and submit their proposals for consideration.
