About this opportunity
The United States Marine Corps is conducting market research via Request for Information M67854-27-I-0007 to identify vendors capable of manufacturing Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) systems, with responses due by October 1, 2026. This RFI is for planning and informational purposes only; no contract will be awarded and no payment will be made to respondents. The Government seeks to determine whether multiple sources exist beyond the current sole-source producer, Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, who manufactures G/ATOR systems under contract M67854-19-C-0043.
Vendors are requested to demonstrate capabilities to manufacture and deliver up to 27 G/ATOR systems capable of Identification Friend or Foe Mode 5/S with Radar Signal Processor (RSP), together with operating spares and production, engineering, integration, testing, logistics, and program management support services. Respondents must provide manufacturing and delivery timeframes and describe advanced manufacturing technologies and processes planned for the next five years that would enhance production and reduce costs and schedule. Companies must provide executive summaries not exceeding 15 pages, including company name, address, contact details, CAGE Code, DUNS number, NAICS code 334511 business size classification, and a white paper detailing capabilities and relevant past performance. Responses must be submitted electronically via the DoD SAFE website by 4:00 PM Eastern Time on October 1, 2026, and directed to Taylor Cross, Erin Howard, and Alexander Lyon at Marine Corps Systems Command.
