About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking to procure Grip Assembly, Contr units (NSN 1680-01-442-9628YQ, Part Number 730-6013) for F-15E aircraft applications. These cast aluminum throttle grips measure 4.0" x 2.0" x 4.5" and weigh 9.0 pounds each, containing various switches that provide system control without requiring the pilot to move their left hand from the grips. The procurement is designated as a spare parts acquisition under RFQ SPRTA1-25-R-0465. The estimated solicitation issue date is September 11, 2025, with responses due October 11, 2025. No special qualification requirements exist for this procurement, and export control requirements do not apply, though IUID requirements will be enforced.

This opportunity carries no set-aside designation and is open to all responsible sources who may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations for agency consideration. Mason Electric Co. (CAGE Code 81579) is listed as a qualified source and appears to be the previous contractor based on April 2, 2024 procurement history. The total procurement calls for a best estimate quantity of 56 units, with a minimum of 14 units and maximum of 84 units across four delivery schedules spanning from September 30, 2028, through November 11, 2028, with 14 units delivered in each shipment. Early delivery is acceptable for all scheduled deliveries, and the government's payment obligation remains contingent upon appropriated fund availability.
