About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency has awarded a sole-source contract (HC102826P0069) for GPS Splitters on September 23, 2026, under a limited sources justification.

The procurement supports Critical Time Dissemination (Phase 2) and Two-Way Satellite Time Transfer integration, enhancements, and testing efforts required to maintain schedule and performance. Market research conducted from July 1 through September 18, 2026 determined that only the proposed sole-source manufacturer can fully meet the government's technical and operational requirements. The GPS Splitters—Mil Spec devices with 8 outputs, EMI shielding, hermetically sealed construction, waterproof design, and isolated power-amplified capabilities—are critical to prevent mission degradation and operational risk in supporting secure cross-domain solutions for strategic mission partner connections essential to warfighter operations. Without these devices, elevated risk exists to system stability, cybersecurity compliance, and mission execution. The requirement includes compliance with MIL-STD-704F. The procurement calls for 10 units; manufacturer lead times range from 60 to 230 days. This is a new fixed-price contract conducted under 41 U.S.C. 1901 and FAR 12.102 Commercial Simplified Procedures. The contracting officer is Mallory M. Melosi, DISA/DITCO/PS8332, 667-891-0546, mallory.m.melosi2.civ@mail.mil.
