About this opportunity
The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane is seeking to procure specialized dual temperature and pressure transducers through solicitation N00164-25-Q-0767. The procurement includes 20 units of part number 7880-8725-175 (dual temperature and pressure transducers with 1.03" probe tip), 20 units of part number 7880-8730-175 (dual temperature and pressure transducers with .63" probe tip), and 2 units of DOC-006 wetted parts traceability documentation. These transducers must meet specific technical requirements including 0-5 VDC output, 0-175 PSI range, -45 to 71°C temperature range, and D38999/27YA35PA 6 Pin electrical connections. This is a sole source procurement intended for negotiation exclusively with GP New York LTD, justified because the components are direct replacement parts that must be compatible with current systems. The solicitation operates under FAR Part 13 procedures with responses due by 4:00 PM Eastern Time on September 3, 2025, and delivery required by February 17, 2026.
Despite the government file summary indicating a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside, the primary solicitation notice states "No Set-Aside Used," creating some inconsistency in the documentation. GP New York LTD, located at 2770 Long Rd, Grand Island, New York 14072-1223, is identified as the intended sole source contractor for this procurement. The solicitation operates under NAICS code 334513 (Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables) and PSC code 6625 (Electrical and Electronic Properties Measuring and Testing Instruments). While no specific contract value is disclosed, the procurement involves a total of 40 specialized transducers plus documentation, with a firm fixed price structure and performance expected to occur at the contractor's Grand Island, New York facility. The contract will be administered by NSWC Crane in Indiana, and interested vendors must maintain proper registration in the System for Award Management (SAM).
