About this opportunity

The Department of the Interior's Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) is seeking to award one or more Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for Geological Interpretive Tools (GIT) technology and services. The GIT technology required includes commercial off-the-shelf software for seismic interpretation, geophysical and geological modeling, petrophysical analysis, data management, reservoir simulation, geomechanical modeling, and other subsurface characterization capabilities. Contractors must be able to provide the software in a FedRAMP-certified cloud environment or allow BOEM to host it in a DOI private cloud, and provide a transition plan to migrate BOEM's existing GIT software and data to the new solution.

The contract will have a 5-year ordering period with a minimum guaranteed order of $10,000-$50,000 and a maximum of $50 million. BOEM is hosting a pre-solicitation conference on July 24, 2024 and is requesting comments and feedback on the draft solicitation from interested parties by July 31, 2024. The procurement will be unrestricted, and BOEM has not identified any potential incumbents or current contractors for this requirement.
