About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is soliciting quotes for generator functions classified as miscellaneous electrical equipment and component manufacturing (NAICS 335999). This solicitation is being issued under FAR Part 12 for the acquisition of commercial products and services, with proposals due by March 27, 2026, and a required 60-day quote validity period. Contractors must submit pricing support including estimated informal cost breakdowns, previous sales invoices, or other cost and pricing information to establish price reasonableness in accordance with FAR 15.404-1(b). The evaluation will apply commercial products and services evaluation criteria per Deviation 2026-O0028, and pricing fairness and reasonableness will be determined through the submission of supporting cost and price documentation rather than certified cost or pricing data. This solicitation was posted on March 12, 2026, providing interested parties with a 15-day window to submit responses.

The solicitation includes no set-aside designations and applies multiple regulatory requirements including Buy American provisions, small business subcontracting plans, contractor purchasing system administration standards, and security prohibitions and exclusions per applicable deviations. The notice specifies applicability of national defense priority rating authorizations and includes mandatory representations and certifications under FAR Part 12 compliance. While the solicitation document excerpt does not specify contract award values, quantity requirements, or detailed performance timelines, it does indicate that payment will be processed through Wide Area Workflow using an invoice and receiving report combination method. Supplies may be transported by sea per October 2024 FAR provisions, and the specific place of performance has not been detailed in the available solicitation text.
