About this opportunity
This notice seeks proposals for the repair or modification of 32 generator alternators under National Stock Number 7R-6115-012015740-RX. The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command requires the item to be delivered FOB origin as it is a flight critical part. Only previously approved sources will be considered initially due to data adequacy issues, though any source may submit a request for approval along with their proposal according to the instructions provided. Proposals will be accepted until June 15, 2020.
There is no set-aside designated for this procurement. The NAICS code is likely to be 333994 for generator and motor manufacturing while the PSC code would correspond to generator repair. As this is for repair of existing assets, the incumbent is unknown, though only previously approved sources will be considered for award without a separate source approval process. The notice does not provide any estimated value or budget for the repair work of these 32 alternators.
