Notice text
The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has a requirement to convert Mylar sheets that have been scanned at 800 dpi and are stored as digital TIFF files on various media, including DVDs. The TIFF files must be converted to SEG-Y file format and written to an external hard drive to be supplied by BOEM. BOEM prefers that the data be written on a Linux formatted drive; however, a MS Windows formatted drive is acceptable.
The data consists of 22 lines in 59 separate segments that have been individually scanned. Interested vendors must possess a minimum of 5 years experiences converting TIFF images of seismic lines to digital SEG-Y file format, including populating the various headers in the SEG-Y files. All work would be conducted at the contractors facility.
Interested vendors must email WASCProcurementBranch@boemre.gov and ask for a copy of the Request for Quote.
