About this opportunity
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded a firm-fixed price order to The Boeing Company on March 12, 2026, under Basic Ordering Agreement N0001921G0006 for the production of engineering change proposal (ECP) A-Kits (specifically ECPs 6444, 6472, and 6482) valued at $14,446,239.48. These A-Kits are engineered components designed to attach, integrate, and enable the capabilities of the Next Generation Jammer - Mid Band Pod, AN/ALQ-249(v)1, with the EA-18G aircraft platform for fleet deployment and U.S. Navy operational use. Boeing was selected as the sole responsible source under FAR Subpart 6.302-1 because it is the exclusive designer, developer, and manufacturer of F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft systems and possesses the proprietary technical data and specialized engineering capabilities necessary to fulfill these requirements. The underlying BOA, which remains in effect through March 14, 2026, authorizes Boeing to provide design, development, manufacturing, testing, and technical support services across multiple fiscal years for F/A-18 and EA-18G weapons systems under Program Management Area 265.
