Pre-Solicitation

On or about 08 September 2022, the Government intends to issue a solicitation for “Garrison Project Native Prairie Restoration”.  The solicitation will close on or about 23 September 2022.   The solicitation is Restricted to Small Businesses.

Site Visit: (Not applicable)

Project Description: 

The objectives of this requirement are to properly eliminate existing vegetation within the restoration areas including invasive plants and establish a prairie community complete with native grasses and forbs in its place. Follow up maintenance after the planting of the site may be required if noxious weeds establish or large portions of the restoration need reseeding due to lack of establishment. Services and techniques to accomplish the aforementioned objectives include but are not limited to burning, mowing, haying, raking, spraying, harrowing, light disking, seeding, no-till drilling and maintenance of the proposed site.
