Key requirements include washing operations to segregate fine to coarse-grained sands from silty poorly draining material, on-site stockpiling of processed sand, and sieve analysis testing every 10,000 cubic yards to verify washing efficacy. The procurement is being conducted under full-and-open competition with a firm-fixed price contract structure. The Request for Proposal is anticipated to be posted in February 2026, with proposals due in March 2026.
