About this opportunity
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) 1.0 is issuing a competitive solicitation for continued development, integration, and deployment of engineering and technical efforts for AEGIS-based combat systems. The solicitation (N00024-25-R-5341) seeks comprehensive support for AEGIS Ship Integration & Test (SI&T) across United States Navy surface combatants, international surface combatants, and tactical sites outside the contiguous United States. Potential offerors must submit a comprehensive proposal adhering to all solicitation requirements, with failure to comply potentially resulting in being deemed non-responsive. The solicitation will be conducted under FAR 6.1 Full and Open Competition guidelines, with proposals due by May 23, 2025. Potential offerors are required to submit questions and comments through specified contract specialists, with the understanding that such communications may be subject to public release.
The contract will be structured as a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) with a possible additional Award Fee, though no initial funding is associated with this announcement. Performance will take place within the United States, specifically targeting the Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing category (NAICS 334511). There is no specific set-aside designation for this opportunity, making it open to a broad range of potential contractors. The solicitation includes multiple attachments covering critical aspects such as combat system installation technical documentation, position descriptions, staffing plans, and government-furnished information checklists. While no specific award value is mentioned, the comprehensive nature of the work suggests a significant multi-year commitment, with the solicitation indicating a potential fiscal year range of FY25-FY34 for the anticipated contract performance.
