The Contractor will mobilize dredge to Alpena Harbor and dredge between the upstream and downstream limits as shown on the plans and place the dredge material at the Holcim site in Alpena, Ml. Demobilize when dredging work is completed. Dredging and placement is restricted to mechanical methods. This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) as a 100% set-aside for small businesses. Bid bond is required. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 237990 (Exception), Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a small business size standard of $37 million (dredging) in average annual receipts. Hard copy documents will NOT be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation.
