About this opportunity

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), specifically the Great Lakes Region 5 Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) and Public Buildings Service (PBS), has issued a Special Notice announcing its Monthly Virtual Meeting On Wednesday's (MOW's) Office Hour Open House. This recurring virtual event is designed to enhance engagement with small businesses interested in working with GSA. The Special Notice was published on January 11, 2023, with a due date extending through December 31, 2025. The event is hosted by the GSA's civilian agency division and focuses on providing small businesses with direct access to regional acquisition workforce members. These monthly sessions will occur on the second Wednesday of each month from 2-3 p.m.

The primary objective of these virtual meetings is to provide small businesses an opportunity to learn about GSA procurement processes, explore regional opportunities, and engage directly with GSA small business program advocates. Participation requires free registration, after which attendees will receive an email confirmation with meeting access details. Small businesses can drop in and out of the sessions at their convenience, making the format flexible and accessible. The meetings are open to both prospective and existing small business vendors seeking to understand GSA's procurement landscape. Eligible participants include small businesses interested in federal contracting, with no specific set-aside requirements mentioned. Throughout 2023, these monthly one-hour sessions will cover various topics related to small business opportunities within GSA's regional procurement ecosystem, offering a platform for direct interaction and knowledge sharing.
