The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for FY18-22 Dual Band Radar (DBR) requirements on a sole source basis to Raytheon Company, Integrated Defense Systems (Raytheon IDS), 50 Apple Hill Drive, Tewksbury, Massachusetts 01876. The BOA allows for the placement of Firm Fixed Price (FFP) or Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) type delivery orders for an ordering period of sixty (60) months from date of award. The BOA will allow for procurement of installation and checkout (INCO) repair parts, and repair, alteration efforts, overhaul, refurbishment, and maintenance of the DBR and component parts in support of the CVN 78 and DDG 1000 Class DBR and Multi-Function Radar (MFR) systems with volume search capability.
The proposed BOA is a follow-on for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii)(B) and (iii)(B).
Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Raytheon IDS directly. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
