This effort addresses the need for pixellated eye protection for the Soldier. A goal of the research is to prove the compatibility of the plastic lens technology developed by Dynamic Eye with other eye protection technologies.

To develop an improved multi-option communication system that offers active double hearing protection, increased sound localization, and increased situational awareness. The product will be system composed of both circum-aural (earmuff) and inner-aural (earbud) components that could be worn together or individually, a Push-to-Talk (PTT) box and associated cabling.

The effort is to develop, demonstrate, characterize and deliver a series of optical materials and breakthrough components meeting and exceeding the functional characteristics expected from optical anti-jamming systems.
