About this opportunity

The Embassy intends to award the contract based on initial proposals without discussions, though they reserve the right to conduct discussions with companies in the competitive range if necessary. Key submission deadlines include February 23, 2025, for questions (to be emailed to AmmanRFQQuestions@state.gov) and March 5, 2025, for proposal submissions (to be emailed to AmmanRFQ@state.gov).

The solicitation has no specific set-aside designation and covers furniture refurbishment across 19 furniture categories including tables, desks, dressers, chairs, and cabinets. The total estimated value of the BPA will not exceed USD 150,000, with individual purchase orders capped at USD 10,000. Contractors must be able to complete standard orders within two weeks and urgent orders (5 items or less) within one week. The place of performance is Amman, Jordan, and the work involves maintaining Embassy tags on furniture, matching original or specified colors, and applying a smooth semi-matt lacquer finish. Proposals must be submitted electronically in Word, Excel, or PDF format, with file sizes not exceeding 20MB, and must include comprehensive documentation such as SF-1449, pricing details, representations and certifications, and proof of SAM registration.
