About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration published a Special Notice regarding a proposed sole source contract award. The DEA intends to award WilmerHale, Inc. a contract to conduct an internal review of the agency's current international operations to ensure appropriate oversight, structures, procedures, and controls are in place.
The period of performance is six months with an option for an additional six months, and pricing will be determined through a price analysis. Interested parties have until October 30th to provide feedback in writing to the point of contact, though the justification cites WilmerHale's specialized expertise and ability to begin work immediately under an unusual and compelling urgency authority. The NAICS code is 541110 for Office of Lawyers and the size standard is $12 million. The DEA will also continue exploring other potential vendors through market research, though the sole source award to WilmerHale is currently proposed.
