About this opportunity
The Naval Sea Systems Command is procuring Forced Draft Blower Overhaul Kits through the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) under RFQ number N5005426Q0010. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) under FAR Part 13, with the requirement that all parts must be new rather than refurbished or used. The solicitation seeks qualified sources capable of providing forced draft blower components as detailed in the attached Statement of Work. The opportunity is posted exclusively online through the System for Award Management (sam.gov) and the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), with no paper copies available. Responses are due October 22, 2025, providing potential bidders with a seven-day response window from the October 15, 2025 posting date. The procurement incorporates provisions and clauses through FAC 2025-06 and DFARS Change notice 20250910.
This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting competition to small business concerns. The solicitation falls under NAICS code 336611 for Ship Building and Repairing and PSC category 2090 for Miscellaneous Ship and Marine Equipment, indicating the components are intended for naval vessel maintenance operations. No incumbent contractors, award values, budget ranges, or specific quantities are disclosed in the solicitation notice. The procurement timeline requires delivery of new overhaul kit components, though specific delivery schedules are presumably detailed in the referenced Statement of Work. Performance location appears to be associated with MARMC operations, though the exact place of performance is not explicitly stated in the public notice.
